The global tech firms Microsoft and Google have now undertaken numerous efforts to wipe out hard and boring computing work through unleashing top-notch AI tools as an adds-on to the current services. An AI powered system dubbed Copilot has been introduced by Microsoft to its 365 suite apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. As per a media report, Microsoft has taken this decision after the search engine giant Google decided to introduce AI into its workspace apps like Chats, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Meets. 

According to the experts, both the companies have discovered a firm way to introduce cutting-edge AI solutions into our classrooms and offices. In the current cloud infrastructures, both the stems are integrated, which implies the data will be stored securely in company servers and will be available online. Now, journalism is another key area where the algorithms and AI tools generating content are key to focus. Technology is bringing journalism into the cusp of revolution. 

German businessman and Journalist Mathias Döpfner told the media, "Artificial intelligence has the potential to make independent journalism better than it ever was –- or simply replace it." In fact, the author of "Media Management and Artificial Intelligence", Alex Connock stated that the uniqueness of the AI tools will have the potential to predict which media firms will survive long and which ones will lose their popularity in the coming years. Mike Wooldridge of Oxford University on other hand said that ChatGPT is actually like a "glorified word processor" and media employees must not worry about it.

Experts also opined that with AI people cannot engage especially when it comes to swiftly understanding patterns of huge data or processing words. Now, if columnists can be replaced by ChatGPT, then it will have the potential to replace every person who tries to play with numbers and words into analysis and arguments.
